LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It was a great Purple Pinkie Day in Campbell County! The South Campbell County Rotary Club purchased 74 boxes, and members delivered them to different places in the county.

“It is a project that is fun to do each year and supports a great cause,” said South Campbell County Rotary Club President David Hickman.

The South Campbell County Rotary Club participates in this project each year to raise funds and awareness in the fight against Polio. The club purchased 74 boxes of donuts; each box will generate approximately $127 per box, with funds going to fight Polio.

Each box raises enough money to vaccinate 60 kids. The South Campbell County Rotary Club’s 74 boxes comes out to 4,440 vaccinations. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/13/2022-6AM)
