One person suffered from smoke inhalation after there was a fire inside this home.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Just after 10:30am, Firefighters and First Responders with the La Follette Fire Department responded to the call of a house fire on North 15th Street near the 13th Street underpass.

Minor damage resulted from a morning fire.

Though the fire appeared to minor in nature, one female inside the home was overcome by smoke and was taken outside on the porch and given oxygen by First Responders with the LFD. Firefighters snuffed out the fire very quickly.

Firefighters tend to a patient suffering from smoke inhalation.
