Wlaf1450Floyd Ramsey, age 89, departed this life on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at LaFollette Court Assisted Living in LaFollette, TN. He was born on May 3, 1933, to the late Albert Steve Ramsey and Della M. Stanifer Ramsey. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran, Mason, and a Shriner. He retired from Jones Trucking in Cincinnati, OH where he lived most of his adult life.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Floyd Ray Ramsey; brothers, Joe, Bishop, Charlie, and twin, Lloyd; sisters, Arlena Blackwell, Kathleen Frye, Beatrice Ownby, Gladys P. Mathews, Anna B. Leach, Norma Pangle, and infant Imogene Ramsey.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, friends at LaFollette Court, the Dinkins family of Florida, and Buck and Helen Hamilton of Loveland, OH.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 11-12pm with his graveside service to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with Chaplain Ben Neal officiating.
