LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – One official thinks the driver of the pick up truck that crashed into a utility pole on Monday morning may have nodded off. The wreck occurred a little after 10am on West Central Avenue across the street from Riggs Drug.

One official stated that this is the second time this utility pole has taken a hit.
The driver in this wreck walked away.

The man was wearing his seatbelt, and the airbag deployed, according to officials. He refused to be transported to the La Follette Medical Center and walked away from the mishap. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/21/2022-11AM)

  1. Looking like the city is going to have to put in concrete barriers to keep drivers in the road!!
I can’t recall so many people just running out of the road as is happening lately.
It’s no wonder the highway patrol is working this town so hard.
