TOP PHOTO: The driver of this truck suffered minor injuries, according to officials, when it left the road Tuesday evening.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A young man escaped serious injury when the pick up truck he was driving left Old Highway 63 and went over an embankment hitting a couple of trees.

The truck left the road soon after 6:30 Tuesday evening near the bridge just past the old Block sub station, according to officials. It traveled about 10 feet off the road trapping the driver who was extricated by members of the Caryville Volunteer Fire Department. The patient was taken by the Campbell County EMS to the La Follette Medical Center and was reported to have suffered minor injuries.

Caryville Police and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office also responded. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/23/2022-11AM)
