Mr. Walter “Carl” Swain, age 79 of LaFollette passed away, Wednesday, November 9, 2022.  He was retired from General Motors, and enjoyed gun collecting, fishing, and camping.   Carl was also a Third Degree Master Freemason.   Preceded in death by Parents, William Madison Swain and Sarah Blue Swain, Sisters, Easter Williamson, Dorothy Edleman, and Ruby Durham, Brothers, Arthur, Bobby, Harvey, and Ralph Swain. 

Survivors:  Sons, Timothy Carl Swain, Matt Swain and wife, Lindsay, and Clinton Swain; Grandchildren, Dylan Swain, Bridgette Swain, Michael Edmondson, and Chris Edmondson; Great-Grandson, Colton Swain; Sisters, Rosie Hunt and Arlene Shipley.  Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Monday, November 14, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Audie Murray officiating.  Interment to follow at Peabody Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00P.M. to 2:00 P.M. before Funeral Services. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Walter “Carl” Swain.
