LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Robby Cobb recently responded to a second call of an unwanted person on Nov. 18 at 8:21 pm. It was reported the person had smashed a window in a bedroom of a home.

As Deputy Cobb was enroute to the home, he was advised by dispatch that a day shift officer had been to the home earlier in the day for a report of a male banging on the doors and windows of the home. The suspect, Ricky Frazier Andrews, had left the residence before a deputy arrived. Dispatch then reported to Cobb that an earlier warrant check of Andrews showed an active warrant out of Morgan County.

Cobb arrived at the home on Young Rd, LaFollette where the victim reported the individual identified as Andrews was asleep in her daughter’s bed.

The victim then reported that Andrews was the ex-boyfriend of her daughter who she had kicked out of the home approximately two weeks prior. She continued stating that Andrews had shown up at her home banging on the windows and doors, eventually breaking out her daughter’s bedroom window. The victim reported to Cobb when she went into the bedroom to cover the window around 8 pm she discovered Andrews in bed seemingly asleep, she then came back out of the room and called 911. Sgt. Joshua Jeffers and Cobb entered the home and took Andrews into custody without incident.

Andrews, 33, 500 Young Rd, LaFollette is charged with vandalism, criminal trespassing and hold for another agency. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/02/2022-6AM)
