LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County’s BSA Troop 435 celebrated with a Court of Honor on Tuesday at the LaFollette United Methodist Church. The ceremony was held to award scouts for their hard work during the past six months. Troop 435 is Campbell County’s all female BSA Troop. Veterinarian Dr. Paul Nader from Lincoln Memorial University guest spoke for the event. 

According to Troop 435 Leader Liz White, Scouts earned 36 Merit Badges, seven ranks, and two special awards.

“The young ladies have worked hard for these accomplishments, and it was so great to celebrate their diligence,” White said.

Veterinarian Dr. Paul Nader from Lincoln Memorial University guest spoke at Troop 435’s Court of Honor.

She also said Troop 435 was “honored” to have Dr. Paul Nader as a special speaker for the evening. 

“Paul shared some of his special memories in his trail to Eagle Scout and encouraged the scouts to make the best of their experience as scouts ” White said. 

Dr. Nader spoke about how “scouting impacted his life in many ways including his decision to become a veterinarian.”
