Officials say this fork lift ripped through a box trailer and into the tractor injuring the driver.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – The driver of a truck was injured Monday night when cargo came through the wall of the trailer and into the tractor of the 18-wheeler.

A fork lift ripped through the box trailer and into the cab injuring the driver of the truck, according to officials.

One of the wreckers used a crane to move cargo.

At 8:22pm is when the call of the mishap came in to Central Dispatch. The driver was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

The unusual accident happened on I-75 northbound in Campbell County just before Caryville Exit 134. Traffic was forced down to a single lane, the passing lane, as two larger wreckers worked to clear the scene.
