Andy Elmer Stevens, age 100 of Jacksboro, went home to be his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was born March 10, 1922, in Pioneer to the late Edward and Cora (Broyles) Stevens. Andy was a Pentecostal preacher, pastor, and evangelist, who loved reading his bible. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, playing music and his Tennessee Volunteers. Andy was a WWII Army veteran, who served his country in Germany.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Rutherford) Stevens; second wife, Dorothy (Netherland) Stevens; daughter, Bonnie Jean Stevens; grandson, Corey Stevens; brother, Oscar Stevens; sisters, Ocie Queener, Odea Owens, Clossie Carroll, and Dena Madison.

Andy is survived by his son, Gene Stevens and wife, Monica of Jacksboro; daughters, Nancy Lorene Stevens of Jacksboro and Darlene Joyce Kemp of New Mexico; grandchildren, Ashton Gaylor and husband, Cody, Trent Stevens and wife, Whitney, Cindy Teeple, and Jimmy Jenkins; eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Chris Allen, Rev. Carolina Curtiss, and Rev. Norma Welch officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the funeral home to go in funeral procession to Queener Cemetery for a 11:00 AM interment.
