Darlene Hicks, age 72 of Maynardville

Darlene Hicks, age 72  of Maynardville, departed this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born December 4, 1950 in LaFollette to the late Dewey Franklin Hicks and Mary Alice Daughtery. Darlene enjoyed watching westerns, camping, spending time with her family. She loved to travel and eating ice cream.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Daniel “Danny” Hicks.

Darlene is survived by her sons, Chris Goodman and wife, Tina of Jacksboro, Robert Goodman of Dayton, Ohio; daughters, Melissa Mallicoat and husband, Harold of Maynardville, Davida Selvy of LaFollette; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 PM with Minister Bruce Holt officiating.
