Traffic is backed up for more than five miles during road repairs on I-75 northbound at Mile Marker 151.

KNOXVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Motorists traveling on I-75 North in Campbell County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have an effect on traffic on Wednesday.

Beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, one lane will be closed on I-75 North between Mile Markers 151.5 and 152.5, approximately 9 miles from the Tennessee/Kentucky state line. This will allow crews to patch potholes within the work zone of the slope stabilization project. All lanes are expected to reopen by 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
