Jerry Wayne Voyles, age 67 of LaFollette, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his earthly home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 6, 1955 in Jellico to the late Horace and Wanda (Shephard) Voyles. Jerry was a member of Indian Mound Baptist Church and loved going to church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and his dog, Little Bear. Jerry was a United States Navy Veteran, who served his country proudly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Susan and Mildred Ann Voyles.  

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Voyles of LaFollette; sons, Johnny Petree of LaFollette, Ronnie Petree of Monroe, Michigan, and Tim Petree of LaFollette; brother, Robert “Hoss” Voyles and wife, Gail of LaFollette; sister, Linda Orick and husband, Danny of LaFollette; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.   

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, December 26, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bill Wilson, Rev. Glen McNeely, and Rev. Danny Lee Orick officiating. The interment for Jerry will follow the funeral service at Grantsboro Cemetery with military honors being presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
