Wlaf1450Mr. David D. King, age 76 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023. He was a Member of Glade Springs Baptist Church and loved to fish. David was a retired carpenter and handyman, served as head of maintenance at LaFollette Church of God for many years, and was formerly employed with Ayers Auction and Real Estate. Preceded in death by Parents, Dewey E. and Naomi Cordell King, Brothers, Harold Wayne King and Ralph Edward King, and Infant Brother, Paul King.
Survivors: Wife of 54 years, Peggy Lambert King; Son, Michael King; Grandson, Dalton King; Daughter-in-law, Wanda King; Brother, Roger King; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Friday, January 6, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday, January 7, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Fincastle Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday before funeral services.
