On Friday afternoon, firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service fought a brushfire on Hunters Lane.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – An out of control brushfire threatening structures sent firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service to Hunters Lane on Friday afternoon.

No structures were damaged in the Friday afternoon brushfire.

The CCRFS were called out at 2:47pm and was able to quickly contain the fire before it reached any structures.

This home on Landmark Road was fully involved when CCRFS crews arrived.

Seven hours later at 9:47 on Friday night, crews from the CCRFS were dispatched to a report of a structure fire off Landmark Road. Shortly after being dispatched, crews where advised everyone was out of the home, and the house was fully involved.

Multiple units and firefighters answered Friday night’s house fire call.

Upon arrival crews found one house fully involved with all occupants safely out of the home. Crews had multiple other structures along with a large propane tank to protect, and they were saved.
