LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – City of La Follette officials continue working toward Cherry Street becoming a one-way street after the council recently voted to do so. However, there has been a change to the original traffic pattern. “We’re going to have traffic coming from west to east now. That means folks will enter Cherry Street at PCUD and traffic will flow east to the South 5th Street-Cherry Street Y at West Beech Street,” said City Administrator Stan Foust.

Foust said residents on Cherry Street will be moving their mailboxes across the street, and that a 60 day notice was issued by the US Postal Service. “Based on that, the one way on Cherry Street will begin on Monday, March 6,” said Foust.
