LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A man who has been arrested several times for traffic violations is back in the Campbell County Jail this morning on what was his 33rd arrest, according to jail records.
Roy Lee Green was arrested in the pre-dawn hours of Friday on Glade Springs Road and is facing multiple charges. Police say Green is an habitual traffic offender.
An official with the jail explains that a DUI (driving under the influence), driving while revoked and speeding are some of Green’s previous traffic offenses.
Green, 61, 742 Old Long Hollow Road, La Follette was charged with habitual traffic offender, filing false reports, criminal impersonation, possession of schedule II and III controlled substances.
Court appearances of Jan. 17 in criminal court and Jan. 24 in general sessions court are ahead for Green who remains housed in the county jail without bond. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/16/2023-6AM)
