Multiple agencies responded to the wreck that happened on Hunters Branch Road a few hundred feet from the four lane.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two adults and a child escaped serious injury when the car in which they were riding went out of control and ended up in Hunters Branch just off the four lane late Monday morning.

This wreck happened just after 11:30am Monday.
Airbags deployed on both front seats.

All three individuals were checked out and said they were OK, according to officials. The single-vehicle wreck happened just after 11:30am and shutdown a portion of Hunters Branch Road for the better part of an hour.

It’s believed the car hit the embankment, spun and ended up in the creek. The driver told WLAF News that he was heading toward Demory Road (south).

La Follette Fire and Police responded along with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, Campbell County Rural Fire Service and Campbell County EMS.

LFD Firefighter Lieutenant Brad Young (left) and Campbell County Rural Fire Service Firefighter Eric Sowanick stretched a boom across the creek down stream from the wreck.
