JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – If it had been a track meet, the Lady Cougars would have lapped the Lady Tigers of Sunbright. Campbell burned the nets for 19 first quarter points all the while holding visiting Sunbright scoreless. That 19-0 start eventually built into a 45 point difference at one stage, and Campbell won 67-26 on Thursday at Brown Gym. Watch the game and Senior Night celebration on demand from WLAF.

Campbell totaled 13 threes on the night with six coming before halftime. The Lady Cougars carried a 65-20 lead into the fourth quarter following an impressive 27 point third quarter.
The regular season ends at 12 & 16 for Campbell while Sunbright, 12 & 16, has one more game to go before next week’s tournament. Wartburg hosts Sunbright on Friday. The Lady Cougars, the 5th seed, face Central on Tuesday at Powell in a 7:30pm opening round game in the District 3-AAAA tournament.
