Doris Ann Turner Miller, age 78

Doris Ann Miller (Turner) Born March 14, 1944 – Died February 4, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents Emma and Harrison Beeler, siblings Aretha Smith, Jewel Halverson, Charles Smith, Leon Turner, Hazel Saldi, Armelda McCullah, Kyle Turner, Beulah Parker, Brenda Cole, and Glenda Blankenship.

Doris is survived by her children, David (Jannie) Hartter, of LaFollette, Angel Miller (Jonathan Ketner) of Knoxville, Scott (Rachel) Miller in Lexington, KY, and Sean Miller (Kristie Taylor) in LaFollette.  She is survived by her grandchildren, Jamie (McKay McCullah) McGhee, Mara Ivey, Tera Hartter (Cole Seal), Sean Miller, Scott Miller, Luke Hartter, Berlyn Miller, Xavier Miller, Katey (Jake) Monday, Jacob (Maddy) Ridenour, Madison Ridenour, Allyson Ridenour, 8 great grandchildren whom she deeply adored, and a host of nieces and nephews.  

She worked most extensively as a real estate appraiser for the Campbell County Property Assessor’s office. Doris will especially be remembered for her love of her large family gatherings with required attendance, dining out, Tennessee sports and country and gospel music. 

Visitation will be held on Friday February 17, 2023 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with memorial service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. J.R. Kitts and Rev. James Coffey officiating.
