JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – In a release from Campbell County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Suzy Knight, reports the results of a recent county wide sweep by sheriff’s deputies.

On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office saturated areas across our county in an attempt to detect and prohibit impaired driving.  

During this saturation, many offenses were observed such as, speeding, failure to maintain lane, light law, registration violation, improper turn or lane change, illegal parking and driving on suspended license. This successful operation concluded with three arrests and five citations.

Sheriff Wayne Barton would like to thank the Lafollette Police Department for their assistance during this saturation.
