Mr. Robert Lawrence “Ben” Ruley, age 74 of Rocky Top, TN, formerly of West Covina, CA, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving overseas for 18 months.  Ben was employed with In-N-Out Burger in California for 50 years.  He loved the Lord and reading his Bible.  Ben also loved to travel, seeing New Zealand, Hawaii, and several Major League Baseball Stadiums with his Brother, Jack and his wife, Michele.  Preceded in death by Wife, Devona D. Ruley, Parents, Carl and Patricia Ruley. 

Survivors:  Daughters, Allison Ruley, Jennifer Ruley and Husband, Brian Kimbell, Amanda Ruley, and Kaitlyn Ruley; Grandchildren, Jessie, Robbie, Tyler, Taylor, David, Zach, Tanner, and Brooke; Great-Grandchildren, Noah, Aiden, and Brayden; Brothers, Joseph Ruley and Jack Ruley and wife, Michele; Niece, Tiffany Fernandez and Husband, Ivan.  Several other relatives and friends. 

Military Honors and Interment will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, 10:00 A.M. at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy., Knoxville, TN 37920).  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Robert Lawrence “Ben” Ruley.
