The La Follette Police Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team were out around 6:30am Friday on a drug raid. Five individuals were arrested.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Four of the five people arrested in a Friday morning drug raid conducted by the La Follette Police Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team remain housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning. The original related story from WLAF is found HERE.

Arrested in the predawn event at a home at 504 River Drive were Clifford Bolton, Tony Evans, Eva Marcum, Valerie Phillips and Greg Riggs. Marcum is out on bond. According to one jail official, Bolton, Evans, Phillips and Riggs will be arraigned later today.

There were people living inside this shed in addition to the home at 504 River Drive.

Bolton’s charges are evading arrest and possession of schedule II Meth, while Evans and Marcum were each charged with possession of schedule II Meth. Valerie Phillips charges are possession of schedule II, III and IV. Riggs charges are resisting arrest and possession of schedule II Meth, according to La Follette Chief of Police Steve Wallen.(WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/27/2023-6AM)
