Mr. Johnny Chapman, age 77 of Jacksboro, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023.  He was a faithful member of Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church, Member of Stooksbury Masonic Lodge #602 F.&A.M., and retired from the City of LaFollette Street Department.    He was an antique car enthusiast, enjoyed going to car shows with his buddies, loved company, and visiting with people.  Johnny was a devoted Husband, Father, Papaw, and Brother.  Preceded in death by Parents, Emmett and Nannie Baird Chapman, Step-Mother, Wanda Chapman, and Niece, Sara Shoupes.

Survivors:  Wife of 57 years, Patsy Malicote Chapman; Son, Randy Chapman and wife, Heather; Grandchildren, McKenna and Reid Chapman; Brothers, Jerry Chapman and wife, Hettie and Larry Chapman and wife, Rachele; Sisters, Carolyn Shoupes and husband, Donald and Kathy Chapman; Special Niece, Mary Bowlin; Special Nephew, Ronnie Malicote.  Several other Nieces, Nephews, beloved Church Family, and other relatives and friends.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Staff of U.T. Medical Center 12th Floor for their care of Johnny.

Masonic Rites will be conducted Thursday, March 2, 2023, 7:45 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel by Stooksbury Lodge #602 F. & A.M.  Funeral Services to follow with Rev. Larry Russell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:45 P.M. Thursday before services.  Family and Friends will meet Friday, March 3, 2023, 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Johnny Chapman.
