CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – It was 12:15am Friday when a Caryville Police Officer stopped to check on a pick up truck sitting along side the road.

As Officer Brett Russell approached the black Dodge Dakota sitting beside Luther Seiber Lane when it was suddenly fired up. Russell talked with the man behind the wheel, Glenn Howard, who allegedly told the officer that the truck overheated, and he was trying to get back to Exit 134 of I-75.

Once Russell checked on the status of Howard’s driver’s license, he discovered the license was revoked, and that Howard had eight prior driving on revoked offenses.

Howard, 64, College Hill Road, La Follette, was arrested and charged with driving on a revoked license. He is set to appear in court Thursday. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/01/2023-6AM)
