Hunt for man who fled the scene of a crash continues

Traffic was snarled around 7pm Wednesday after a car wreck back behind Big O’s East on Old Middlesboro Highway.

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- A three car collision occurred near the Fincastle Church of God on Old Middlesboro Highway.

One person was transported to the La Follette Medical Center to be checked out from the Wednesday night wreck.

The wreck happened around 7:10 pm Wednesday, according to central dispatch. One man fled the scene on foot. Area police along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol are searching for him.

The Campbell County Rural Fire Service, Campbell County EMS, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office along with La Follette Police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a wreck on Wednesday night.
