LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A young man is safe and at home this morning after a several hours search for him late Wednesday night. Around 9:30pm the teenager was discovered missing from his home on the south side of La Follette off Loop Road.

An operator at central dispatch confirmed to WLAF the 19-year old man, said to be Autistic, was located not far from his home in the Longmire Lane area around midnight. “He was okay, and we didn’t even need to have EMS come check him out,” said the operator.

Officers with the La Follette Police Department and deputies from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office teamed for the search. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/02/2023-6AM)
