JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Dancing with the Stars, a fundraiser for the Caryville Cares Playground project, generated more than $35,000 on Thursday night at Campbell High, according to playground chair Brandon Johnson.

Organizers said ticket sales exceeded 800 and called it “a great night.” The event brought nine teams from throughout Campbell County together for a dance competition, and they performed everything from hip-hop to salsa.

Tim and Julie Zupancic took home the winning trophy.
