LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Units with the La Follette Fire Department responded to the call of a house fire on the south side of town not long after 10:30 Tuesday morning.

Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke in the home that sits near the Loop Road-Demory Road split. “I think there was some plastic on fire, and that usually puts off some dangerous smoke,” said LFD Chief Jimmy Pack.

Right after this photo was snapped, firefighters brought a man out of the house and treated him for smoke inhalation.

One person from the home was treated for smoke inhalation on the scene by an LFD First Responder.

All LFD Units cleared the scene at 11:38 Tuesday morning. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/07/2023-11AM-UPDATED-03/07/2023-11:40AM)
