This fire off Pinecrest Road was contained to about two acres.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The fourth fire of the day on Tuesday was called in early in the evening.

It was 6:07pm when the Campbell County Rural Fire Service was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on Pine Hollow Road, which is off Pinecrest Road.

The Forestry Division also responded with the CCRFS to Tuesday’s brush fire.

No structures where damaged, and the fire was contained to two acres. The Tennessee Division of Forestry responded as well.

Tuesday was a busy day for firefighters.

The La Follette Fire Department responded to two fire calls on Tuesday, one near the Loop Road-Demory Road split, and the other was near Goat Rock Bridge on South High Knob Road at Claiborne Road. Capt. Daniel Lawson with the CCRFS told WLAF News that officials with the State of Tennessee Division of Forestry conducted a prescribed burn at Demory on afternoon on Tuesday.
