LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The well intended Downtown La Follette flower beds have come and gone in just under three years. By the end of the day Thursday, where the flower beds were fresh paving now exists.

Crews with La Follette Public Works and Boshears Paving started early yesterday morning at the corner of Central and Tennessee Avenues heading east. By the end of the day, they were at the corner of Central and Tennessee heading west.

Public Works Director Casey Boshears had hoped to finish the paving on Thursday before the rain arrived. They did, and the rain began falling around 5pm. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/10/2023-6AM)
