Wlaf1450Mary Edna Dowell, age 67, of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023. She was a member of East Jacksboro Baptist Church where she loved the ladies Sunday School Class and was retired from Caryville-Jacksboro Utilities after 38 years. Preceded in death by Parents: William Richard and Shirley Ann Richardson Dowell, Grandparents: Condy and Mary Richardson, Pryor and Lassie Dowell.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Tuesday, March 14th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Johnny Vanover and Rev. George Asbury officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM, Wednesday, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11 AM Interment.
