According to records at the Campbell County Jail, Kevin Potter has been in and out of jail 29 times since he was 18 years old.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A 38-year old La Follette man is behind bars this morning after being arrested for the 29th time.  The latest arrest comes as the result of the execution of a search warrant by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division.

Sheriff’s Investigators, assisted by officers with the Caryville Police Department, arrested Kevin Kurtis Potter Tuesday afternoon at a home on Ward Lane near Caryville Elementary School. Potter is facing multiple charges including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Another man, Cody Robert Wilson, was also arrested at the Ward Lane home. Wilson, 28, of 119 Hook Lane, La Follette was charged with failure to report to probation. Wilson is free on bond and is due in court on March 21.

Potter, of 466 Young Road, La Follette, was charged with the manufacture, sale, and delivery of a schedule I controlled Substance; Heroin, the manufacture, sale and delivery of schedule II controlled substance; Methamphetamine, possession of a schedule V controlled substance; Gabapentin, violation of drug-free school zone, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia.
