The Emily Ellison team takes the title for 2023.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – The defending champs are champs again of the Campbell County Youth Basketball Association (CCYBA). The Emily Ellison team squared off with the Britney Surface team, and it was game on.

The Emily Ellison team came out on top, but the score was closer than the final indicated. It started out like the Emily Ellison team was going to run away and hide, but the Britney Surface team came roaring back to tie the game up at one point.

The Britney Surface team has concluded a great season.

As the 4th quarter came around, the Britney Surface team was rushing shots, and that’s when the Emily Ellison team was getting good looks and scoring.

In only her second year of coaching in the CCYBA, the Emily Ellison team has won the championship both times.
