LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Just before 11am, the LaFollette Police Department Special Response Team along with the Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 504 River Dr. for the illegal sale of methamphetamine. It was the second search warrant execution of the day for the department. See a related story from a raid at this same address last month HERE.

The search allegedly revealed illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia at the residence. Arrested at the home were Greg Riggs who was charged with possession of a schedule III drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia; Tony Evans possession of schedule II (methamphetamine); Scotty Orick schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine) for resale, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The search warrant was a follow up to the narcotics search warrant that was served at the same location on Feb. 24 due to the alleged continuance of illegal sales of methamphetamine. The LaFollette Police Department will continue to fight the drug problem in our city and appreciates the continued support from our citizens on any information that will help fight these issues, said LPD Chief Steve Wallen. 1. I earnestly pray that you can shut down each and every place dealing drugs. People don’t care who they sell to. Drugs leads to Death. Ask me and I’ll tell you my daughter’s story.
