LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- A 23-year-old Jacksboro man has been indicted on the sole count of vehicular homicide by intoxication.

A Campbell County Grand Jury recently indicted Tristan Caleb Harmon for the crime following a 2021 accident.

He was booked then released from the Campbell County Jail on a $100,000 bond, according to jail records.

Harmon’s car hit the North 13th Street underpass around 2am on May 21, 2021, ejecting a passenger, according to the preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Harmon was traveling north on North 13th Street, behind the Corner Market, when he struck the concrete railroad underpass ejecting 19-year- old Sailor Harmon, the backseat passenger. The 2014 Nissan Altima came to a final uncontrolled rest inside the concrete underpass.

The Harmons are brother and sister. Neither was wearing a seatbelt based on the report.

The front seat passenger, 18-year- old Jordan Webb, was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt.

First responders from the La Follette Fire and Police Departments were on the scene of a fatal accident.
