LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – La Follette Police end up arresting two people at the same time at the same location, Wednesday afternoon at a state office.

Officer Austin Tindell answered the call of an impaired female in the lobby of the ETRA Probation office on Jacksboro Pike. Alicia Gibson had come for a visit with her probation officer, according to the officer. The probation officer said Gibson was causing a disturbance, could barely walk, ran into a wall several times and even had to be picked up and set down.

Gibson allegedly had slurred speech, pinpoint pupils and continued to fall asleep while speaking with Tindell, according to the arrest report.

Prior to police arriving, Gibson had taken a drug test with ETHRA. Positive results for Meth, Heroin and Morphine came from the test, based on Tindell’s report. Gibson was placed under arrest.

While at ETHRA, Officer Tindell ran into Alexander Miller. Dispatch confirmed what Tindell thought, and that is that Miller was a wanted man. Miller had a violation of probation.

Alicia Marie Gibson, 26, homeless of La Follette, was charged with public intoxication.

Alexander Robert Miller, 25, 141 Lamberts Lane, La Follette was arrested on a warrant.

Gibson and Miller are due in court on April 11. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/31/2023-6AM)
