JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Regional planning commission approved several minor lot subdivisions and one minor lot combination during its monthly meeting on Monday.

First approved was a minor lot combination for Lonnie Welden on Scarlett Drive.

“It’s two lots combined into one; the septic system has already been approved,” Welden said.

As a planning commission member, Lonnie Welden abstained from voting on the issue.

Next up on the agenda were three different minor lot subdivisions for the Deerfield Condo Owners Association. These are on Deerfield Way, Wedgewood Lane and Skyline Knoll Lane.

After brief discussion on each, County Planner Jordan Rockwell said he saw no issues and recommended approval.

County planning commission member Scott Fields abstained from voting.

Also approved was a minor lot subdivision for Todd Longmire on Coolidge Road.

“It’s my father’s estate, and part of it is being split off for my sister, ” Longmire said.

Discussion on the minor lot subdivision for Wes Kennedy on Whitman Hollow Road was tabled until next month.

During the meeting, the planning commission made a motion to suspend the rules and add a minor lot subdivision for Darryl Sharp on Oak Grove Road to the agenda.

This was approved upon the recommendation of the county planner. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/04/2023-6AM)
