LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A La Follette man continues recovering this morning from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on East Central Avenue.

“It was a car versus a motorcycle in front of the Food Lion,” said LPD Lt. Matthew Forsyth. Benjamin Gibson, was riding the motorcycle just before 8pm Tuesday when it wrecked with a car driven by Suzanne Kennedy, also of La Follette, Forsyth said. The mishap kept traffic backed up for a great distance in both directions.

Gibson is listed in stable condition at a Knoxville hospital while Kennedy was not injured, according to Forsyth.
