DUFF, TN (WLAF) – The call of two people, reportedly unresponsive in a vehicle in a ditch, came in to central dispatch at 3:50am Wednesday.

The silver SUV was off White Oak Road, just past the dump, and a Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy and ambulance from Campbell County EMS along with a unit from the White Oak Fire Volunteer Department responded.

It was reported that as the deputy arrived, the SUV fled the scene heading back toward White Oak. About a minute later, the deputy made a traffic stop on White Oak Road.

A man and a woman in the SUV were placed under arrest and transported to the Campbell County Jail.

Jonathan Kirby, 28, and Hannah Kirby, 29, face multiple drug charges. Jonathan is charged with driving while in possession of meth, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of IV controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and a hold for Knox County.
