The project is expected to last a couple of months.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “Construction is now going on on the Valley View Road bridge project,” said Campbell Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck.  The road was shutdown beginning on Wednesday.

These culverts will help the construction team work around the water.

Detour information will be posted on the project that will take place south of Brook Lane. The many residents living on the south side of the construction zone will be detoured to Springview Drive and to Knoxville Hollow Road and then to the Old Middlesboro Highway at Cross Valley Road.

Wednesday was a day when crews began laying ground work to begin construction.

One crew member noted that this project would likely take less than two months. 

A portion of Valley View Road is shutdown so a new bridge, box culvert, can be constructed.
