Joseph Dearl Mozingo, age 74, of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was a member of High Street Baptist Church and a retired heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents: Eugene and Hester Mozingo, brothers: Bill, Clarence, Kenneth Ray, and Jake Mozingo, and sister: Tilda Hatfield.

Daughter: Karen Mozingo and Alvin Gibson

Son: Jody Mozingo

Grandchildren: Kayla Arnette and Tyler Hatfield

Former Wife: Helen Rutherford

Brother: Henry Mozingo

Sisters: Sue Marlow and Syliva Hamblin

Several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends 12-2 PM, Sunday, May 21st at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. James Adkins officiating.  Interment to follow in Powell Valley Cemetery.
