CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (WLAF)- Ben Foust, the Campbell County High School Principal, arrested Thursday night by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, has seen those legal issues resolved.

Around 8pm, Foust was near Zaxby’s at Jacksboro when he was stopped, according to a witness. The THP pulled him for a traffic violation, based on a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. It was then that a 17- year- old active warrant from Claiborne County was discovered.

In 2006, Foust was given a ticket for speeding and violation of the financial responsibility law, Claiborne County Jail staff said on Friday. He did not appear in court on these tickets prompting a failure to appear warrant to be issued.

After being arrested Foust was booked into the Campbell County Jail and then extradited to Claiborne County.

Foust, 41, was released on Friday from the Claiborne County Jail after paying his traffic related fines, according to an official at the jail. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 5/22/2023 6AM)
