LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Three adults were arrested while two juveniles were charged stemming from events that unfolded Thursday afternoon at a residence at 322 North Massachusetts Ave.; a home officials deem a drug house.

“The original call to 911 came in at 12:46pm of a juvenile that had overdosed. When we arrived, the juvenile was alert,” said La Follette Police Lt. Matthew Forsyth. HERE is a related story.

Forsyth said that an adult male had overdosed, and the medical team dealt with him while another juvenile needed medical attention.

LPD investigators searched the home and located several drugs, according to Forsyth.

Two juveniles were charged with schedule I and VI for resale and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

One First Responder on scene said three people overdosed Thursday at this home.

The parents of one of the juveniles were arrested. Jake Allen Sharp, 43, and Rebekah Lynn Sharp, 40, both of 322 North Massachusetts Ave., were each charged with aggravated child abuse or neglect and keeping of a drug dwelling.

The Sharps are free on bond, and each has a $20,000 secure bond. A Tuesday court date is set for the couple.

Police also arrested Christopher Weiss, 19, 484 Young Road, La Follette. Weiss remains housed this morning in the Campbell County Jail without bond and is due in court on Tuesday.

Weiss is facing two counts of attempted murder, schedule I, II and VI for resale, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and aggravated burglary.

Investigators with the La Follette Police Department’s Narcotics Unit recovered a large amount of drugs on Thursday afternoon at a north La Follette home.
