JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On an unseasonably cool morning, a crowd gathered on Monday on the lawn of the Campbell County Courthouse to pay homage to all military members who have died in while serving in U.S. forces.

Marvin Bolinger is a retired U.S. Army Colonel, a Campbell County native, and served as Monday’s special speaker. View Charlie Hutson’s photo gallery HERE.

The ceremony began Monday at 11am at Jacksboro.
Also attending Monday’s ceremony were Logan Hickman (US Army) and Kevin Walden (US Air Force),both retired.
Katie Collins sings the National Anthem.
Campbell County Commandery #44 and members (left to right) Jody Lowe,  Bill Miller – commander, Kevin Edge, Kenneth Cotton Wilson, and Luther Gifford.
Shane Prater is the Director of Campbell County Veterans Affairs.
Tom Gillum served in Vietnam, and his late father, Howard, was a World War II veteran.
U.S. Army veteran Clarence Daugherty turned 90 years old last week.
