Larry Dwain Shepherd age 75 of Knoxville formerly of LaFollette went to be with our Lord on Friday June 2, 2023. He was a Christian of the Baptist faith, master pianist, loving husband, and a good neighbor to all. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran having served 3 tours and received the bronze star and twelve other medals.

He was preceded in death by father Conley Shepherd; grandparents, Thomas and Rena Hatmaker Dagley, John and Stella Cooper Shepherd; brothers-in-law, Donald Robertson and Jim Dial.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Shepherd; son, Ian Henson; mother, Dean Shepherd; sisters, Connie Robertson, Judy Dial, and Cherry Hollifield; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Family and friends will meet at Cross-Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at 10:00 Am to proceed to Grantsboro Cemetery for an 11:00 Am Graveside service and interment. Officiated by Rev. David Goins. Military Honors will be given by Jellico Honor Guard.
