LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- The Sports Shop has announced its 2023 Turkey Grand Slam Champ. Matthew Johnson has earned the title this year with a winning score of 99.20.

His turkey came in at 19.20 lbs; had 1 1/4” spurs with a 10.5” beard, 8.0” beard, 8.0” beard and 1” beard for a total of four beards.

Matthew Johnson has an overall score of 99.20

The winner of the drawing from everyone who participated was Gauge Smith.

Both winners received a $100 gift certificate and t- shirt. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 6/5/2023- 6AM)
