Mrs. Relda Jean Housley Campbell, age 92 of LaFollette passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.  She was a member of East LaFollette Baptist Church.  Relda, along with her Husband, Paul, owned and operated The Birdwell Motel and Sharp’s Motel and Restaurant for many years.  She was also a Partner in Ayers and Campbell Real Estate with her late Brother-in-Law, Hack Ayers.  For over ten years, she assisted the Campbell County School System with transporting students from school to Dentist appointments.  Relda had a great love of travel.  She and late Husband, Paul traveled around the world with many tour groups, and sometimes struck out on their own.  After Paul’s death, she continued to travel with her daughters, Ginger and Karen.  In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by Parents, James W. (Jim) and LouVerne Keck Housley, Brother, Ulyses James Housley, Sisters, Una (Tootsie) Housley, Bobbie Jo Poe, Millie Mogan, and Hazel Patterson, Granddaughter, Tara Shay Holdredge Allred. 

Survivors: Daughters, Ginger Campbell Holdredge (Howard), and Karen Campbell Johnson (Mark Sweat); Sons, James Campbell, and Charles Campbell (Pam); Grandchildren, Tiffani Williams (Shay), Thomas Holdredge, Jonathan Johnson (Allison), Mallory Campbell, Charli Allison Herrell (Homer), and Evan Campbell; Great-Grandchildren, Hayden Williams, Cohen Williams, Elizabeth Allred, Hendrix Smith, Chevelle Smith, Colt Herrell, Homer Herrell, Jr., and Levi Herrell; Sister, Tomi Ayers; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many friends. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. at East LaFollette Baptist Church.  A Graveside Service will follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Rev. Zach Lloyd and Bro. Paul Cordell officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: East LaFollette Baptist Church, 703 E.
