Mrs. Sandra Louise Thacker, “Si”  to the people who loved her so dearly, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023.  Sandra was a Nurse for over 30 years and also taught Sunday School for many years at Coolidge First Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.  Her life was spent serving others.  She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.  Sandra was preceded in death by Husband, Jimmy Thacker, Parents, Rev. George and Ruby Marlow, Sister, Kathy Jones, and Brothers-in-Law, Virgil Jones and Darrel Reese. 

She is survived by Daughter, Carol Chea and husband, Andy of Lexington, KY; Step-daughter, Angie Kirkland of Knoxville; Stepson, Jimmy Thacker of LaFollette; Grandchildren, Laura Jaymes Key and Nathan Thomas Key; Step-Grandchildren, Taylor Kirkland, Cobe, Allyna, and Connor Chea; Brothers and Sisters, Cindy Hill and husband, Hubert of Dayton, OH, Carolyn Reese of Duff, George Marlow and wife, Teresa of LaFollette, Linda Berry and husband, Bill of Duff, Pete Marlow and wife, Alena of Jacksboro, Gary Marlow and wife, Beth of LaFollette, Joey Marlow and wife, Joy of Andersonville; Former Son-in-Law, Jason Key.  A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Co-Workers, Church Family and Friends.   

Funeral Services Monday, June 19, 2023,  8:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuck Kohlmeyer, Rev. Timothy Webb, and Rev. Gary Marlow officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday before funeral services.  Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for an 11:00 A.M. Graveside Service and Interment.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Sandra Louise Thacker, “Si”.
