Wayne Albert Baker, age 90, of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was a member of Crossroads Church, served 4 years in the United States Air Force in Indian Springs, Nevada, where he was involved in a highly classified operation called Operation TEAPOT, after serving in the Air Force worked for the TN Department of Transportation as a surveying engineer where he retired after 35 years. Preceded in death by Parents: Albert and Myrtle Moore Baker, Brothers: David Baker and John Baker, Sister: Olive Lay

Daughter: Patsy Baker Toney and husband Carl

Son: Dale and wife Belinda Baker

Granddaughters: Ashleigh Henegar Matchett and Cheyenne Baker

Great-Granddaughters: Shyla Henegar and Rosette Matchett

Several nieces and nephews

Family will receive friends 12-1 PM, Saturday, July 1st at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Dale Baker officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at Jacksboro Cemetery with Military Honors given by Campbell County Honor Guard.
